White Wednesday

This "White Wednesday" I have some pictures from one of the vignettes at Country Roads. These pictures are the work of a good friend of mine that is also a vendor at Country Roads, Christie Repasy. I've known Christie for a long time and I have to say one thing, she is a wonderful & caring person. What better way to celebrate "White Wednesday" than to enjoy the romantic florals of Christie Repasy's!

When you have a business filled not only with really talented people, but family as well, I'm reminded of how blessed I am. And as always, thanks to Kathleen, for putting "White Wednesday" together. Go visit Kathleen, she has some great pictures of her own, as does the many others that participate in "White Wednesday"!

I came across Christie's work about 20 years ago when she was painting on furniture. I saw her occasionally at the antique store I used to work, but we never had the opportunity to talk. A couple of months ago, we did together the Temecula sale and finally had the chance to meet her. She is as sweet as the roses and birds she paints. She is so humble, almost like she doesn't really know the talent she posses. I always admired her work, but I do even more now that I had the chance to meet her!

Buongiorno Sue,
I never get tired to see my sister-in-law art! She is the one that made me love PINK. Today she will be spending her first night in Fallbrook, we are all so happy to have her and the kids closer. It gives me goos pumps any time I see her work. Happy White Wednesday to you. Ciao Rita

I have always followed Christy's work. She will go down in history and one of the best rose painters. HWW. :)
