When There Are No Words

Today, this afternoon, my fourth beautiful grand baby was born. Let me introduce you to Brooklyn Sage Jackson! No matter how crazy this world is of ours, or whatever is going on in my life, a new grand baby is like a magic eraser. My heart takes total control over my brain and it feels good!

My son, holding his second daughter and I know he will spoil her just as much as he does Morgan. And actually Bryce is pretty fond of his niece Riley and nephew Bodhi. I'm guessing Bodhi will have plenty of fun chasing the little girls around him so he will always have someone one to tease. Just like his Uncle Bryce did with his sisters!!

I wonder what Brooklyn will look like in a few months, in a year. They grow and change so very, very fast. As I always say, in a blink of an eye, they turn another year older.

This is the forth picture I have like the one above. I always hold each of my precious new grand babies close to me. I study their face, I love their tiny hands and most of all, their innocence. We all have lots going on in our lives that take us away from what we love. I've worked so, so hard this past year on a little project I had to do and I was so angry because it took me away from Riley, Bodhi, Morgan because I felt my time was so taken up by paperwork. Today, as I held that precious brand new baby of mine in my arms, all those thoughts were going through my head. And you know, Gramma's back and I'm not going to waste any of my time doing things that in the end don't benefit me anyway. Sometimes we find answers in places we never would have expected. Today, my answers came in the most loving and happy way it could. Love to all my family and friends! Today is good!!

White Wednesday With Full Bloom Cottage

I am so, so very fortunate to have so many talented people be a part of my Country Roads family. One talent that really stands out is Loretta of Full Bloom Cottage. But what you might now know, is Loretta is married to the nicest guy ever. And these displays, vignettes and eye candy were all put together by Jesse! Talk about over the top beautiful. . .take a look!

Did you see what I meant? I'm also lucky because all of these beautiful vignettes are right across the counter at "the store". So I get to see it all the time. Today, I'm linking up with my friend, Kathleen, over at Faded Charm. She is another one that has this natural talent! Be sure you pay her a visit!

I just looked at these photos and realized I haven't edited them. But, I guess something is better than nothing. We all of "one of those days" every once in awhile. I've had one of those "weeks" and I am very grateful it is over! So, this morning I'm sharing a bunch of Ted & Gloria's photos. And while you just might think Gloria threw this all together, not correct. The man behind these displays and vignettes is Ted, her husband. Enjoy some great Sunday eye candy!!

I've always been in love with this little industrial looking medical cabinet that Ted & Gloria have. It looks much better in person, believe me. And probably would have looked better if I had edited the photo too. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday, and are you looking for something to do? Come on down and lose yourself and a store that is packed with tasty eye candy along with more sweets outside in our gardens!!

Always Amazing

What I love the most about Sue Lennon's style is that it is unique!  Her attention to detail is precise, and she pulls it all together with such ease. In this business, when someone comes up with a unique or different idea, there are usually so many knock offs that follow. However in Sue's case, it is next to impossible to try to even try to steal and idea or style from her. Yes, she is that good and has her own, individual sense of style and talent. Just take a look at these pictures below and I think you will understand what I'm saying.

I hope you get a chance to stop by soon while everything is fresh and looks so good.  Seriously, if you are looking for one of kind merchandise, stop and by and take a peek. It's a beautiful sunny SoCal day and if you are looking for something to do, come on down and see us and loose yourself in about 12,000 square feet of eye candy, including Johnnye Merle's Garden & Nursery outside!
