Happy New Year From My Family to Yours!

I "hope" that you are all doing well as the end of 2014 is getting ready to say good-bye!  It's a time for reflection, resolutions, and do overs! I've been posting pictures from Country Roads all week. I just wanted to share some pictures from my talented Country Roads family!  No one could ever ask for a better group of people to work with!  Just take a look at some of these pictures, some of these vignettes, and some of these displays from this talented group of people!

That is Riley in the picture above at Country Roads today. I guess you can tell by this picture just how cold it has been at "the store"!  My own kids grew up at Country Roads, and  began working at CR as they each got older.   As my kids got older they learned the importance of a good work ethic by helping out here at CR when they were young!  As they each got older they all began working at Country Roads!  My hopes and dreams are that my third generation of my family, my grandkids; Riley, Morgan, Bodhi, and Brooklyn, will also be a part of this place we call home,  Country Roads! t Happy 2015 to you all!  We hope to see you tomorrow at our big New Years Day sale!!
Take care,
Sue and my Family

Almost Time For Our New Years Day Sale!

As I sit here writing this blog post, I am still amazed that this year is almost gone!  Like all of us, there are some great memories of 2014, and of course there are a few memories that I will I will be happy to say good-by to!  There has always been something special for me to be open on New Years Day and have a really big sale. It is not only a way of thanking my customers, but it is really nice to work with my favorite customers and my family as well. It starts my year off in a positive way that I look forward too! Here are some more pictures of some of my favorite Country Roads stuff!

I love little baby shoes and actually have an old pine stepback cupboard in my home that is filled with vintage children's books, toys, little shoes, and other things. There is just something special about looking at these things and imagining the tiny hands that loved them so much. I sure am hoping we will see many of you on New Years Day at our sale. As we begin our 23rd year in business, it would not have been possible without all our amazing customers!

The Country Roads Count Down!

I hope all of you are enjoying this holiday season!  There are always, without a doubt, so many wonderful things at Country Roads to take pictures of. It is so hard to choose which ones to put on our blog! We are having a really big sale on New Years Day!  I sure hope you can join us. I always love to start my year off by working hard at something I love.

I hope you enjoyed the very small selection of pictures on this blog post today.  Please check back tomorrow evening, for a few more of my favorite things here at Country Roads.  And my hopes, my high hopes, are that you will join us on January 1st, 2015 for our big New Years Salel!  It is also Country Roads 23rd birthday.  Oh where, oh where did the time go?  Take care. . . Sue

I Love This Time of Year!

It's so  wonderful to have our weather here in sunny SoCal begin to feel a little bit more like Fall. I have noticed the past few mornings when I wake up there is a bit of a chill in the air! We had too much heat for too long! I'm glad that it appears to be gone.  As always, I just wanted to share some of the wonderful things we have at Country Roads in case you are in the mood to shop!

They are one of a kind, and as we all know, have their own story to tell!  Country Roads will be having our big annual "Holiday Memories" sale beginning on the day after Thanksgiving, November 28th and it will run till close on Sunday, November 30th.  I hope you all stop by and see us soon!  Take care.
