New Industrial Stuff

We've got some great new industrial "stuff" in here at Country Roads. My son Bryce has these tables for sale. They were made from the old large saw blades. He sanded the edges down and made tables out of them.  They are a one of kind. Here are a few pictures of the latest industrial stuff that just arrived  here at Country Roads.

I wish I had room for this long table on wheels. It would make a great kitchen island. Stop on by see what we've got for you here at Country Roads. Love This Time of Year

I'm so, so loving Fall and it's nice, cool weather. After almost two straight months of that heat wave of ours, I'm so happy to be enjoying this time of the year. I got a bit carried away decorating yesterday. But the colors and wonderful feelings that Fall brings with it,  kept calling my name!

I've had this old "Hays Funeral Service" sign for years. I bought it from Ginny, here at Country Roads. I have to say it's one of my favorites and it's the perfect time of year to enjoy it. If you are looking for Fall decorations, vintage stuff and plants for your garden to bring Fall to your home, you know that we have it right here at Country Roads. . ."always your favorite, never the same"!

Something For Everyone

Almost each and every day at Country Roads, someone is bringing in something new to the store. I love it! That way our store always stays fresh and there is always something to look at that you haven't seen before. We had a very busy week-end, and I'm very grateful for that. Thanks to those of you that shopped with us. I only had a small amount of time to snap some photos, so here are a few.

Many of you know our talented artist Lori Gutierrez Hannah. I have to say, when Lori first starting creating her "girls" for the Halloween season, you could see the love she puts into them. Each doll is unique and different and a true work of art. These dolls are a must have if you love Halloween! Our weather is beautiful and finally it is beginning to feel like Fall. Stop by and see us this week. As you know, there is always something for everyone!

Fall

Finally, after all the heat we've had it is starting to feel like Fall! We were a little late getting our Fall displays up this year. Maybe because of the heat? Anyway, this past Sunday my oldest, Brande, worked on putting together some Fall displays to remind us all that Fall really is a wonderful time of year!

And I can always count on Trader Joe's to remind me of the seasons. They have such a wonderful selection of flowers at such great prices. I originally bought these to bring in to CR. But, I ended up keeping them at my house. The Fall colors and the simple addition of the dried wheat reminds me of the beauty nature offers us daily if we just pay attention!

They're Back!

Two of our favorite people are back Country Roads.  How can we forget that dynamic dueo of Mike and Patti? Along with the comedy and laughter they provide (and I mean that in a good way), they've always good stuff great stuff. Here are a few pictures for you.

On a side note, it is SO nice that the evil heat has left and we are once again enjoying our great SoCal weather. Sometimes pictures say so much more than words. And this is definitely the case when it comes to the many talents of my friend Debbie Watts of Blossoms! Take a look at some of her wonderful things and beautiful vignettes that can be found right here at Country Roads!!

Some people just have a "gift" when it comes to display and vignettes. And that certainly applies to Debbie who was a florist for many years as well. And I have to tell you, there is also a guy behind the talent of this amazing woman! How can we forget "Big Lar", who usually can be found sitting on the bench by the counter while Debbie performs her magic in her room and on her porch. Seriously, our buddy Larry should sign up for stand up comedy. . .he is the best. Stop by and see us soon. We are having wonderful COOL weather and Country Roads is looking good!
