My Little Ones

 A day with my little grandkids, or even a good portion of the day with these guys will, without a doubt, give you a good nights sleep!  Riley got out of school early yesterday for "Back to School Night" and for some reason Morgan still hadn't got dressed. And Bodhi, well let's just say, he is one busy little boy and now loves to pose for pictures by saying, "cheese"!

Did you notice the back of Morgan's pink shirt that she slept in and the scotch tape on the back? Apparently, the shirt is too big, so Bryce decided the scotch tape would make it fit better. Creative, not sure. I'm ready to pick my pumpkins this afternoon. With the official arrival of Fall tomorrow, my pumpkins are ready to come on inside of the house. Out of all the things I've planted, I really LOVED starting these pumpkins from seeds and watching them grow! Wishing you all an early "Happy Fall"!

White Wednesday

For this weeks "White Wednesday" post, I am featuring what I call, "the room"! It is a large area in the back part of the first building of Country Roads. I can never emphasis it enough how fortunate I am to have such a talented Country Roads family. They always keep their displays not only fresh, but they change them out quite often as well. The Latest "Make Over"!

Yesterday Loretta and her husband Jesse were in doing a complete make over! Many of you know them from "Full Bloom Cottage"! Loretta use to be in what we now call "The Room" but with three boys all involved in sports and school, she has scaled down temporarily. I'm just waiting to find her an additional area to set up besides the one space that is across from the counter. I totally fell in love with this French daybed when she brought it in! Believe me, my pictures don't even begin to show you how beautiful this bed is!! The color and patina on this bed are stunning!! Below are a few more pictures of what you can now find after the latest makeover!

My camera has kind of not exactly been working as it should. So you have to know that these pictures really don't do justice to the awesome "eye candy" that you can find here courtesy of Loretta and Jesse! Another Saturday Morning

Here I am on another Saturday morning and I am still continually amazed at the passage of time! Country Roads is slowly shifting some of its merchandise over from Summer into Fall, Halloween, and yes, we've got some Christmas too! My favorite saying is "in the blink of an eye"! It seems time and my life seem to pass that rapidly. This morning, before I head out to "the store", I thought I'd share just a very small portion of all the wonderful things we have at Country Roads right now. 

We are having great Fall weather right now. It's a good day to be out and about. I hope you find some time to stop by and see us. As many of you know, you can lose yourself in 12,000 square feet of wonderful things! I hope you are in the mood to get lost this week-end doing something you enjoy.
