White Wednesday

I know how so many of us enjoy looking at Loretta's "Full Bloom Cottage" displays here at Country Roads. And since she was in this past Sunday doing a big makeover, I thought on this "White Wednesday" it would be nice to share some of her great eye candy! Hope you enjoy it.

No matter how many times I say this, I can never get tired of looking at just Loretta's beautiful displays, but the other awesome displays that are sprinkled throughout Country Roads. Our store is FULL of variety, and there truly is something for everyone. Be sure and stop by and see Kathleen, as she begins her 101 post to head on down the road to 200! Happy White Wednesday to you all!!

Part Two of the "New Dealer in the House"

Our new dealers in the house, Shaun and Jenny, were back yesterday with some more great eye candy that is now in the store for sale at really good prices. I thought I'd share just a bit more with all of you. Maybe it's just my kind of stuff, but I have to tell you, I love it all!

If you see something you like, I hope you come in soon. I don't think these treasures are going to be gathering any dust. Everything is priced to sell! And please know, you can always give us a call at
714.532.3041 and charge it over the phone. I hope you all have a happy Monday today. Take care.

There's A New Dealer In The House. . .

There's a new dealer in the house. . . and they are going to do great! Shaun and his wife Jenny, just joined our Country Roads family. Although they just started, and have much more to bring in, just take a peek at what showed up late this afternoon! And their prices? Unbelievable for what they have, seriously. Just take a peek of what arrived at Country Roads today!

The large door pull in the center, I must confess, went home with me today. It is an awesome architectural piece priced at just $29! It is always exciting to me to have really nice people, such as Shaun and Jenny, join our CR family. They are already helping everyone else as well as setting up. I think our Country Roads family just added two really great people today to our ever growing family.  A big welcome to you both! Be sure to stop by when you get the chance. Looking for the old ceiling tins? They have tons of them priced at around $35 each with great chippy paint & patina on them. I'm just saying, "there's a new dealer in the house"!

What Caught My Eye Today

Country Roads. . . "always your favorite, never the same"! Without a doubt, each and every day at Country Roads there are always different things that have just arrived to catch our eyes. There are days that the "eye candy" I get to work around is simply amazing. Below is just a very small collection of what caught my eye today! Hope some of these things catch your eyes as well.

Most of you that shop with us all the time know that Johnnye Merles Garden and Nurseries was built on top of what use to be an asphalt parking lot. And over the many years, it has matured and I often forget about that fact. If you look closely at the picture above, you can see where a sunflower somehow rooted itself in the asphalt and is growing. Pretty amazing, just as our gardens are. I've mentioned in my blog that I've really started working on my own garden at home. I'm really enjoying it. I've missed it to be honest. If you are like me, and really into gardening this year, you MUST stop by Country Roads and take a peek outside at Johnnye Merle's!  I just planted some sunflowers when I got home from "the store" tonight! Today three different trucks made deliveries of  some awesome plants! If you are a fan of Annie's Annuals, we have those too! Hope to see you all this week-end. Happy Spring!!

Learning To Walk!

At ten months old, my baby boy Bodhi is ready to walk!  He is taking a couple of steps here and there. I use to get excited when the girls learned to walk until I realized how mobile they become once they have the whole walking/running thing down! Today Bodhi got a lot of encouragement and help from his sister Riley, his cousin Morgan, and his Auntie Justine!

This past Monday night we went to Islands for Brande's birthday. After dinner, my "little man" was ready to GO!!. Not only to walk, but jump as well. With his hands held, he was so proud as he walked to the car. They grow so fast, in the "blink of an eye"! I do my best not to miss a moment of any of my grandbabies lives! I know how fortunate I am to have them be a part of my daily life and not a day goes by that I am grateful for that!!
