White Wednesday

This "White Wednesday" I'm hanging around my house with my two girls, Riley & Morgan! Love having the grandkids to spend some time with. I wish I could explain just how awesome my roses, pictured above, smell this year. I never had time to cut any of my rosebushes back this year, and with all of our rain, the roses have not only exploded with color, but with fragrance as well! Everytime I walk down the driveway, I can smell them! And below, just a few of my favorite things around my house. I have this thing, this love affair, with the old architectural elements, especially if they are beat up, abused, and covered in white, chippy paint!

For me, there is something special about having this kind of stuff around in the house. Wondering what it orginally was used for, what is the story it has to tell? My kids grew up with the old stuff, and now my grandkids are are too! Little finger prints on my stuff only adds character! I just wanted to thank friend, Kathleen, for hosting "White Wednesday"!! I hope you have some time to stop by not only to visit Kathleen, but all the other great blogs that are sharing their cool stuff on this "White Wednesday"! Take care.

White roses and chippy architectural pieces all around the house. I think you and I are soul sisters. Two of my favorite things as well.

Hope you enjoy your day with the little ones today. We all know they grow too fast.

Take care,

Kathleen

No wonder the shop looks so great, it is a reflection of your home.
Everything look so great Sue.
it is so true about the little ones touching everything that is already so beat up, what can it hurt.
Have a great day with the kids.
