Monday Morning Stuff

I think by now, everyone knows that I work at Country Roads on the week-ends. And gratefully we seem to always be really busy lately. So, on Monday mornings, I'm a little slow getting started with my day. With all that said,  here is some of my favorite stuff we have at Country Roads right now!

I am a bit in disbelief that this is the last day of April! Time just seems to go by faster and faster for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Like The Industrial Stuff?

Are you a fan of the industrial look?  I know there is something about it that is always calling my name! Here are just a few pieces of the many industrial stuff we have at Country Roads right now.

There are two of these great tables/bins. The color is great, the glass top is thick and they can be used in so many ways. I hope some of you have a chance to stop by and see us this week-end. It is a beautiful Spring day outside!!

Friday Finds

Some of you may know that Country Roads does have a website where my intent was to have merchandise posted that you could buy online. The problem for me was that, well how do I say it, I guess it was a boring process. And a lot of work! Props to all of you that do sell online through your websites. One of my customers that has bought three or four things after seeing them on my blog said that the blog is just "funner" and we laughed at that word!  I think she was right. Last night over a few drinks with my friends Darcy and Kristi, I was kicking the "Friday Finds" idea around. Darcy came up with the name. I'm still working on this idea but please know that anything you see on my blog from CR is for sale! Today I've got some killer primitives that Shawn and Ginny just brought back from a recent buying trip. It was hard to get good pictures because there is so much stuff in the space right now and there isn't a whole lot of room. But here's a few shots of my favorite stuff!

Everyone loves pink, so I included this great chippy old pink painted iron bed. It has old blue paint coming through it. If I could buy anything, I would pick the old cupboard with old glass above. It has all original glass except one pane that was replaced. Actually it is the top of an old step back. You would never know it because even alone its really wonderful. So, this is my introduction to "Friday Finds". I will fine tune it as the weeks go by. Please know if you want anything you can either call  Country Roads at 1.714.532.3041 or email me at cradealers@aol.com  Next week my hopes are to fine tune our "Friday Finds"! Thanks for your continued support of Country Roads. It's appreciated.

Clouds

Yesterday afternoon I was cleaning up in my backyard. After winter, all around the pool needed to be cleaned up and fluffed. The sky was just incredible yesterday afternoon. I wish I would have had my camera with me, but my iPhone did okay. The sky was so beautiful when hints of a rainbow popped through.

Sometimes it is nice to sit down and enjoy what nature has to offer us. And yesterday, she offered us an entire palate of color, shapes, and texture. I loved it!

White Wednesday

One of my very favorite things to collect, to love, and to obsess over is architectural elements. I'm not sure what it is about architectural stuff, put it pulls at my heart each and every time. Maybe it's the history and the stories these pieces could tell if they had the ability to talk! Below are a few of my other favorite "whites" at Country Roads this week.

I hope you are all enjoying Spring and all the beauty it has with it. Please take a moment to go visit my friend, Kathleen's blog! She always has amazing pictures and she has a huge list of participants that join in for our "White Wednesdays". Have a wonderful week and take care.

Natural Talent

You know, I've been in this business a very long time. And every once in awhile,  not that often,  someone becomes a part of my Country Roads family and their talent just blows me away. And believe me, that is an understatement when it comes to Debbie Watt's. Each and every time she puts together a new display, or a little vignette it just takes my breath away and I know I'm not alone. Below are some pictures of what Debbie "threw together" yesterday!

I'm not sure if any of you noticed in the May issue of Romantic Homes magazine, but Debbie got not just a quarter page, but an entire page of pictures of her home. I'm thinking that maybe RM needs an entire article in Romantic Homes. I want to see more!! And the muscle behind the the talent? None other than Debbie's husband, Larry. Currently Larry is retired but I'm really thinking this guy has a future in stand up comedy! Debbie and Larry make a wonderful team and are both really kind and loving people. I'm very blessed to have them be a part of Country Roads, thanks to you both!!
