Beginning To "Feel" Like Christmas!

Brande and Carol worked on the Christmas displays by the front door of  Country Roads yesterday. Brande and I use to have a tradition a few years back. Every Thanksgiving morning we would go into Country Roads and put up all the Christmas displays! It is so much easier to work on displays when you are closed! I know there are many of you that know what I mean. I don't have the patience to do Christmas displays when we are open for business, I confess! And since I'm confessing, I don't have patience to decorate my Christmas tree each year either! Bryce does it, and does a much better job than I use to do!! Anyway, for the past few years Bryce, Brande, and Carol have done the holiday displays. Here's a few pictures of what we have done so far.

We have two big front windows behind our counter. They are a real pain to display in because the ledge/platform that holds them is so narrow.  Brande and Carol did this window. I was going to take a picture last night of it because I know the photos come out much clearer, but it was raining really hard! I bought the vintage reindeer years ago. Take a close look at them. A couple of them look really evil! Bryce will be doing the last of our front windows today. We are aiming for an industrial Christmas! I hope you all have time to come on down and visit us this week. We will be closed on Thanksgiving! As you know, we ONLY close three days out of the year, and this is one of them!

I might get in the Christmas spirit if you keep showing photos like these! I bet that Country Roads has wonderful holiday displays. Love the vintage Santa and deer in the window!

Ho ho ho!

The girls did a great job with those Christmas decorations! It's hot here, so it's funny to see all the snowy things!!

Evil Reindeer, I'm still smiling! *Winks* The Christmas Vignettes are Enchanting, I'm such a Kid when it comes to the Holidays and I so enjoy seeing all of the Decorating and Christmas Visions everyone is sharing! So Inspiring. The day after Thanksgiving I will be Styling & Decorating our Home for Christmas... this year I'm going with a Salvage Christmas in Sage & Sepia with some Jeweltones.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian

Pure joy..silver and green my favorite. Years ago when Lee and I worked in retail..we would decorate after Christmas and leave the tree up until February. Of course, we always had a simple tree for the older boys.
