A couple of days ago, life kicked me pretty hard. And I have to say, I'm still stinging a bit from what happened. But when you find yourself calming down, and looking at the bigger picture of "life", I find peace. I have some wonderful friends at Country Roads, "my" Country Roads family. And sitting at dinner last night watching Riley and Bodhi reminds of how blessed I am to be a part of my grandchildrens daily lives. Yesterday when I went to "the store" to work, Stacy came up to me with a little brown bag and a smile on her face. What was inside?
Some little Cornita's, they are so cute! Stacy's smile and warm words will always be remembered. This morning as I watched the aftermath of what has happened in Japan, how can I ever really complain about life giving be a little kick in the butt. If that is the worse thing that has happened to me in awhile, then I have nothing to complain about. Life is what we "choose" to make of it. Is your glass half empty or half full? I "choose" half full because I always believe in my todays and my tomorrows and the lessons that all the yesterdays have taught me. Looking forward to seeing you all at Country Roads this week-end.
