Up On The Roof
Remember that old song, "Up On The Roof"? I was thinking about it this morning when I was watching my half hour of news. That is all I will watch these days, I don't need anymore than that. I didn't realize the recession was over, I guess someone forgot to tell me? I asked Katie this morning if she knew the recession was over? Apparenty no one told her either. It's nice not to be the only one not knowing what is going on in this country of ours! Most everyone I know has been aware of the how things have been for so many people this past year or so. Things haven't been easy for many, and if you haven't noticed that, well "bless you little heart"! Malisa knows what that means! I started thinking about that old song, Up On The Roof, this morning, "when this world starts getting me down". . ."and people are just too much for me take". . . "I climb way up to the top of the stairs". . . "And all my cares just drift into space. . . You know, I don't have to climb up on the roof so all my own cares drift into space! I just try to look for the good in each day. And when I spend time with Riley & Morgan, I'm reminded of how much love, peace, and happiness this world of ours STILL has! Life is never easy, but if you just try to remember what is important in each of our days, it's much easier. And little smiles and hugs from "my girls" pretty much takes care of that for me. Choose to make it a happy day!! And as Riley likes to sing the Bob Marley song, Three Little Birds, "don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be ALL WHIGHT"! We just need to remember we all will be "all whiGHT"!

Sue, you can't start your day watching the news...it's better to live in denial for at least a few hours!
Well sure the recession is over...it's now a DEpression!
Kids sure have a way of keeping our eyes on what the prize really is...up on the roof!
