I would never want to miss Riley's birthday, so I drove down to San Diego to spend the day with her. Katie & Vinnie ended up staying an extra day, so I haven't seen Riley since Wednesday. I know, it doesn't sound like a lot of time, but to me it feels like weeks since I've had her wrap her little arms around my neck and say, "I love you Gramma".

You are spoiled! But, you know what? You deserve to be spoiled! And don't feel bad about spoiling those granddaughters...that is what Grammas are for!

I know how you feel. I like having family so close, especially my nephews!
You spoil them, right? Turnabout is fair play I say!
This is our reward for getting our children raised without killin' 'em!
