Some CR Miscellaneous

I barely got started today taking pictures when the camera battery light came on! So I didn't get a chance to take too many pixs. Hopefully tomorrow I'll find the time and not have the migrane headache I had today. I ended up going home early because of it. So, with all that said, here are some pictures of CR miscellaneous stuff that caught my eye before the camera battery died!

What I love best about Country Roads is that there is always something you want to take home! Seriously, I "try" to stay behind the counter so I leave empty handed on the days I work! On a completely different subject, if you would like to help in the relief efforts for Japan, itunes has a great offer. For a small purchase price of $9.99 you can download "Songs for Japan".  And I think there is like 38 songs if I'm not mistaken. For those of you that are into itunes and giving back, this is the perfect way to help. The store is looking good right now, and I'm hoping to see you over the week-end. I think you know how fast the inventory turns over so there is always new exciting displays! Take care.

The Adventures of Morgan!

Morgan is Bryce and Justine's little girl. She is now 21  months old.  And to use an expression that my Mom always use to say, she is full of "piss & vinegar"! She always said that about my kids when they were little. That is meant in a nice way. Morgan marches to her own drummer, and often times she reminds me of the little boy in Adam Sandler's movie, Big Daddy. She likes to put on different combinations of clothing.  Because she is on "the move" so much, taking pictures of Morgan isn't always the easiest thing to do. She loves to visit our cats in my office. And actually a couple of them will let her pet them. So, below is Morgan in action. Thus, some of the photos aren't very clear!!

Also, the red eye thing on my computer isn't working. Morgan's eye color really does match. Sometime it gets really crazy when Morgan, Riley and Bodhi all play together. But you know what? I wouldn't trade these days for anything. Our little ones grow in the blink of an eye, and I LOVE being a part of their daily little lives!

White Wednesday

Doll Heads & Other Parts!

I know there many of you that just LOVE these crazy, spooky doll heads and their body parts! I don't know what it is about them, but they totally creep me out, seriously. I think it's mostly their eyes. They don't have friendly eyes, they have evil eyes! If I'm working at the counter and there is one of these doll heads starring at me, I have to turn it around. Can't stand the pressure of the doll glare! Here are a few more pictures that are a bit spooky to me!

The above doll heads are really old. If I remember right, I think that they are metal and were used as molds. With all that said, "thank you" to those of you that shopped with us this week-end. It is always great to be so busy and see so familiar faces. Have a great week!!

Country Roads Randomness

 I can never find enough time when I'm working at "the store" to spend time taking pictures. I remember last month I finally just went in on my day off. And I have to say, even then, it was a bit difficult. Yesterday I only snapped a few random photos since it was all I had time for. I am in LOVE with Eileen's space above. Doesn't it just make you want to crawl in that bed? It looks so warm and inviting. My Country Roads family are very good at display, at little vingettes, and just a good group of people in general. I'm very blessed to be able to call them "family"! Here are few more "random" photos below!

It's raining right now. I can think of no better place to get "lost in" than Country Roads. There is plenty to see and we are big enough to get lost for awhile. I know it's Vet's flea market today. It just started raining about 15 minutes, so I hope all those selling there today had enough time to do well. Hope to see you soon!

The "New" Look!

My "boy Bryce" just moved over to a bigger space at Country Roads. He isn't finished, and wasn't too thrilled for me to take pictures, but I wanted to post a few anyway. I REALLY like the way his space is all coming together! Below are a very more of the "new look"!!
