Country Roads Randomness!

Words are never hard to find when it comes to Country Roads. It is a store full of "randomness"!! We have random people that drop in from time to time. Some are great, and some are straight off that little short bus! But I still enjoy all of them for the uniqueness they bring to the store! Our customers provide us with wonderful, sweet comments or the kind that make you want to bang your head on the counter a few times to feel better, but we still appreciate them all! And always, without fail, we have such great random merchandise sprinkled throughout my little piece of paradise, Country Roads. Below are some random pictures of some new displays and other random items that are gracing the floors of Country Roads!

We are going to have some big moving around at the 1st of July. Just in time for our big one day only sale "The Big Firecracker Sale", or whatever I've called the sale and already forgotten! Georgia does the most awesome little vignettes, as you can see above. She will soon be taking her two smaller spaces into one larger area. Her displays are always, without a doubt, so well put together. I'm very anxious to see what she will do with her brand new BIG space at the store! The above picture is of an acorn (I think) squash that came straight out of our own Johnnye Merle Garden's flowerbed! Brande held it in her hands so you could get an idea just how big it really is. And please know Brande doesn't have "man hands", the squash is just gigantic!! This is Amy, she lives in Vegas and came out for a visit to Country Roads with her sister, who lives in Chicago. When Amy walked up to the counter yesterday morning, look what she brought me! What a thoughtful person, and thankfully it wasn't Sunday morning, or I may have opened that box up and had a Corona or two! Amy has a great blog, and I hope you have chance to stop by it and also see her Etsy shop! The picture above is of Kate's little corner of paradise here at Country Roads. Many of you know Kate from her blog Salvage Dior. She hasn't been in the store for a few days, and I've been a bit concerned she might be not doing too well with her health. I got an email this morning from her, and she is having a bit of an argument with her Lupus. Seems like it is keeping her in bed these days. If you have time, you might want to stop by her blog and give her some encouragement. I really think she could use that right now! My job, Country Roads, is 24 hours a day, seven days a week! And even on days when I think my head is going to explode, I stop and think and see all the above! Just look above at the displays and the people and friends I've made over all these years. I couldn't ask for more, I really couldn't! Well, maybe a really nice self cleaning public bathroom, but I swear, I wouldn't ask for anything more! Take care.

You do have some very interesting things at your shop! Your visitor reminded me of a Faith Hill song - Sunshine and Summertime!
Wishing you a wonderful day,

I had so much fun coming by the shop and I wish I would have had more time to walk through and think, I am still kicking myself for leaving without a few things.
But I know it is the place to stop when I am even close by.
Thanks for all the kindness you show and even though it drives you crazy some days it really is a magical place.
Take care Sue and thank Bryce for loading my swing, I LOVE IT!
