Sunday Morning Favorites

Country Roads. . ."always your favorite, never the same"! That's us, without fail. What I love about our store is that we truly have something for everyone. If you are looking for something, you can probably find it here. Many of our customers come in our single front door with out realizing that we have much more than one building. We are three buildings, all attached. And outside we have a wonderful garden area. These are a few of my favorite, a bit more primitive pieces, that caught my eye yesterday!

If you are looking for something to do today, we are open from 10am to 5pm. It feels like Fall out here in SoCal so I really do hope you have time to stop by for a visit. We just got a new shipment out back in Johnnye Merle Nursery and Gardens if you are working in your gardens. And inside, there's great stuff in every nook and corner! Take care.

My Little Ones

I've been kind of childless for almost a week now. Vinnie has been off work, so I haven't been babysitting Riley and Bodhi. And Bryce, Justine, and my Morgan got their own place last Friday and moved out. As much as the silence has been golden, my withdrawal from the total chaos that comes with having grandkids has been tough. I finally got MY chaos back!! I had Bodhi by himself yesterday, and the girls today. Here are some of my favorite pictures of them!

Yes, there are trying moments that make you nuts when you have a house full of little ones. But hey, isn't that what family is all about anyway? And I'm already a little off bit, so we all get along perfectly!!

White Wednesday at Country Roads

This week I'm once again joining my friend, Kathleen, for "White Wednesday"! And this week, I'm also showing you some of my very favorite "whites" from Country Roads!

I am, sincerely, one of the luckiest people I know, to have the job that I do! I'm surrounded each time I go to work by great displays and wonderful merchandise. There first group of pictures are courtesy of Debbie's awesome magic she performs each time she puts a killer display together. And the last few pictures are combination of not only Debbie's talents, but Kate's magical touch as well. This is one of my favorite times of the year, Fall! I hope you are all enjoying the changes our seasons are bringing us. Take care.

It's Monday morning, and I'm working again today, so instead of rambling about this and that, thought I'd just share some Monday morning "eye candy" with you!

Come Shop With Us!

Since I don't have a lot of extra time this morning, I thought I would show you, through my pictures, why you should come shop with us! There are so many reasons, but one is that we have variety. Because of the size of Country Roads, we are able to have a little bit of this and a little bit of that! What I mean by that is pictured below!

Yes, we even carry the "Chalk Paint" by Annie Sloan that everyone is talking about. I told you we have a little bit of everything! We are having such great Fall weather this week-end, I hope you have time to get out and enjoy it. And while you are doing that, hopefully you will have some time to stop by Country Roads and see us! The Colors of Fall

One of my favorite places to enjoy the colors of Fall is in our own Johnnye Merle Gardens & Nursery! When you walk out the back door of Country Roads, you enter a very unique little area, our gardens! Here are some pictures below to show you what I mean.

What's unique about our JM gardens is that years ago it was built out on top of an old asphalt area behind the buildings. I know I'm ready to start working on my own Fall gardens. If you are feeling like I do, stop on by and pick up some colors of Fall at Johnnye Merle Gardens. And just to make sure you know, Country Roads is also exploding with the colors of Fall!
