Paris To The Moon

I mentioned before that Darrin, as in "Paris to the Moon", is joining our Country Roads family. He had been working extremely hard for his "opening" at CR on the 1st of February. His back apparently had really been hurting a lot but he thought it was from all the physical work he had been doing. When he went to the doctors, he sadly found out he had pneumonia and was hospitalized. As if that wasn't bad enough, he just had surgery to drain fluid from his lungs! When you are self employed, as I know very well, there is never time to be sick. But as we know, Country Roads is all about family. So to his rescue came his sisters and nieces. His area at Country Roads is now open for you to shop! It isn't completely stocked, his family is still working on it, but here are a few pictures of what is now available.

I have to tell you something. If you are looking for the perfect Valentine, he has some absolutely beautiful cards in stock right now. Be sure to stop by and see for yourself. And I know that Darrin will get better even sooner since his family is working on getting all his inventory out. That takes a lot of stress away. Speaking of inventory, I'm surprised Country Roads has anything left. I don't want to jinx it, but we have been incredibly busy since the first day in January. Yesterday was crazy busy again, and I can say, I'm feeling it this morning, but hoping to be "slammed" today again! And for you Super Bowl party people, we DO open at 10am so you can both shop and party this afternoon. Have a great day!

  1. Darrin's booth is awesome and can't wait to get to California to see it.
Will say a little prayer that he gets better. I haven't been hospitalized for that but sure do fight it.

  4. His booth looks wonderful. Does he have a web page...that name sounds so familiar?
Cat Daddy had the same problem back in '98. He thought he had pulled his back muscles and the dr. I took him to did as well. Two days later he was rushed to the hospital with a collapsed lung. Nothing to fool around with. I wish him a speedy recovery and as you and I both know...thank God for "family"!
