I imagine many of you have seen enough of the cold "white" snow to hold you over for a bit. Being spoiled, and living in Southern CA, about the only white I see, is that of the white, sandy beaches nearby. I'm not quite sure I could handle living in the really cold temperatures that many of you have been enduring recently! On this "White Wednesday" I decided to share the many different shades of "white" that are sprinkled throughout Country Roads!
We've been really busy this year and I so grateful for that. When I take a moment to look at all the great merchandise we have at Country Roads, and all the variety, and all the great vignettes and displays, then I truly understand why we stay busy. I've got an awesome Country Roads family that works really hard to make this all happen! I just want to say thank you to all of you that continue to shop with us. Also, speaking of "thank yous", I just want to let Kathleen know how appreciative I am for putting together "White Wednesday"! Be sure to stop by her blog and take a peak at the variety of "whites" posted in all the other "White Wednesday" blogs! Take care.
Now this is the type of White I love too... never have loved Snow *shuddering*, which is why I enjoy the sunny Arizona Desert... we get 10 great months of sunshine when everyone else is suffering frigid weather... you don't have to shovel Sunshine! *winks* I'm hoping everyone across the Country gets some relief from the fierce unseasonal weather they've been enduring.
ReplyDeleteI'm salivating over all your fab architectural salvage *swooning*... those columns and gingerbread details are to die for! It is no wonder your Shop is thriving and busy... I'd need a U-Haul to drag Home everything that caught my eye! *winks*

Your Valentine's post always touches my heart. I, too, lost both my parents to Alzheimer's. Maybe that is why we try to enjoy every day so much. Sometimes there is grace in seemingly needless suffering. I'm the type of person that if you know me 5 minutes then you know me but I am also shy by nature, but I promise to seek you out the very next time we are in.
ReplyDeleteMy mother and I walked your garden many many times. Years ago, we used to make the trek to the Circle and then to see Mary Lou at Heard's.
Thank you for the many years of enjoyment and the peace that immediately comes over me by simply crossing the store's threshold.
Love all the pics with columns, I guess I have a weakness for these and well anything architectural. Happy WW!!
ReplyDeleteI love your pics today. Oh how I could see those columns in my home!

I'm so glad you enjoy WW, Sue and we would have never met if it wasn't for it.
ReplyDeleteLove those wonderfully crusty columns.
Enjoy the sunshine for me. I ventured over to the beach yesterday to do some junking and guess what I got. Freezing temps, wind and rain beating in my face. I'd love a trip down to Cali about now.

It's ALL fab but the patina on that cabinet in the last pix... that would be a piece I'd HAVE TO find room for even though I'm maxed out on big furniture pieces!
