What a Wonderful World

Newborn babies all have a similiar look, don't they? This morning, and I'm so tired right now that I forget the time, my little grandson "Bodhi" was born. He was two weeks early and weighed in at 8lbs 3oz! Came out screaming with a head full of curly hair! Below, you see his big sister Riley getting her "big sister" braclets. Below are just a few random pictures I took this morning. As you know, I'll have many more up soon.

.

You know, as I held my little grandson for the first time, the words to Louis Armstrong's song kept running through my head. I think his lyrics below say it all!!

What a Wonderful World

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.

I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.
