As promised, here are some pictures from the Farm Chicks Show up in Washington this week-end. One day, when I "retire" (never) I would love to travel around and visit all the great shows and flea markets that are everywhere!! But for now, I get to "see" these shows through the eyes and camera lens of my Country Roads Family! Speaking of that, I can always, without a doubt, count on at least ONE person in my Country Roads family that is always willing to have his picture taken, Tim! And he always adds a bit of style and flair to his photos, thanks Tim! Below are some of the pictures of Tim and Lisa's displays at the Farm Chick Show this week-end!
I saved this picture for last. Tim bought the front part of this toy truck for like $5 at a flea market knowing that he would do "something" with it. I was in awe when I saw what he did with it. The detail is just amazing. When he showed me this, I simply said, "this is the Tim I first knew"! He use to come into my little store, Battered Barn, that I had before Country Roads. I use to buy his birdhouses from him that looked similar to the truck. He use to put so much detail into his birdhouse, they were truly a work of art. It is so nice to see that side of Tim again, the artist! Now for a few pictures of the Alameda Flea Market. Bryce and David packed a 24 foot truck full of their stuff and headed up North yesterday afternoon. Here are some of their treasures that I know they are hoping NOT to bring back home!
There's the mirror made from a car part that I want! It's nice to see it's still there and maybe it will head back home, meaning MY home! With all that said, this concludes the adventures of my Country Roads family. Least us not forget what day it is! Yes, it is "BSC" Sunday, so with that said I best be heading out for my own little adventure at Country Roads!!
Ha! Love that pic of Tim! What a cut up! It is amazing that he and Lisa put together a booth like that so quickly! They are GOOD!!! Enjoyed the photos of Bryce's goods. Here is what I want: every lamp he has and those lockers! Yes, that will make me happy! Can you mail those priority rate, please?
ReplyDeleteHere is a hint to help you get through BSC Sunday: FLUSH, FLUSH, FLUSH!
That truck is a work of art.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great creative mind to come up with that.
Everything always looks so great
Hope the boys did well.
Have a great Sunday
Amy
Tim and Lisa's display at Farm Chicks was gorgeous! Loved everything about it. I remember seeing them unloading and being in love with everything I saw coming out of the truck!

I was at farm chicks as a first time vendor..it was the most amazing show. I did my booth in recycled cardboard, great reaction....I loved every second of this show...and Serena is amazing. I wish I could have left my booth to see some of the amazing treasures out there.
